ঢাকার শিশুরা যখন খেলার জায়গা খুজে পাচ্ছেনা তখন বসিলার ওয়াশপুর গার্ডেন সিটিতে উন্মুক্ত হলো সম্পূর্ন বাঁশের তৈরি নান্দনিক এক খেলার জায়গা। ব্যম্বু প্লে স্পেস নামের এই প্রজেক্টটি একটি আর্কিটেকচারাল কোর্স CADSE (Critical Architecture Design and Sustainable Environment) এর একটি অংশ। যেখানে বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আর্কিটেকচার অনুষদের শিক্ষার্থীরা এটির ডিজাইন ও নির্মানে অংশ নিয়েছে। ডিজাইন ও আর্কিটেকচার স্টুডিও ‘পারা’ এর তত্ত্বাবধানে এই স্থাপত্যটি সম্পন্ন করা হয় অলাভজনক প্রতিষ্ঠান ‘লিডো পিস হোম’(Local Education and Economic Development Organization (LEEDO)) এর শিশুদের জন্য মানসিক ও শারীরিক বিকাশের জন্য। তবে এই প্রতিষ্ঠানটির বাইরেও সব শিশুদের জন্য সব জন্যই উন্মুক্ত ব্যম্বু প্লে স্পেস।
ব্যম্বু প্লে স্পেস শুধুমাত্র খেলার জায়গা নয়, এখানে নাটকসহ বিভিন্ন সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের জন্য একটি মঞ্চ ও গ্যালারিও আছে।

At a time of extreme scarcity of open space for kids to play, Washpur Garden City in Bosila of Dhaka has opened up an aesthetic place completely made of bamboo for kids to have fun.
The project called Bamboo Playspace is a part of an architectural course CADSE (Critical Architecture Design and Sustainable Environment), where students from different universities took part to create it.

The space was designed and created under the supervision of design and architecture studio Para to help flourish the physical and mental development of kids from a non-profit organization Local Education and Economic Development Organization (LEEDO). But the Bamboo Playspace is open for all kids.
Moreover, the place is not only for kids' play. There is a stage and a gallery for holding drama and other cultural activities there too.
